Soggy Dogs

The twins are growing at an unbelievable rate. Despite being bigger by the minute, our truly gentle giants are still floppy, fluffy and genuinely only want to be loved. In a word, they’re amazing.

Today’s rain really put their fluffy coats to the test. They’re both completely sloppy mud balls. Every inch of their fur is soaked and soggy. Their feet are stained with dirt. They look utterly neglected.

And yet, tomorrow, they’ll look bright white and entirely clean once again. It’s kind of hilarious.

They’ve really started to venture out around the farm. This week, they’ve discovered the end of the driveway where our cars come and go. Coming home tonight, I found both of them under the tree at the end of the drive. Apparently, they wanted to wait for us, but they also wanted to get out of the drizzle. The tree offered the perfect shelter for our incredible new family additions.
