This morning, we were greeted with a pretty spectacular sunrise. The grass in the backyard is freshly mowed and the warm sunshine creeping over the farm was the perfect way to wake up.
And then, about the time we decided to drive into Lawrence, a double rainbow appeared over the pasture.
The misty sprinkles of the day were completely weird with the bright sunshine, but the result was pretty epic. At the top of our driveway, you could clearly see where both ends of the rainbow were landing in the pasture. We could see the vibrant colors changing the hue of the trees as we stared through it. Then, when we were just about to get too close for comfort – the whole thing appeared to jump away.
Such an unexpected way to spend the day – chasing rainbows through our front pasture!
