The chickens have been living THE LIFE lately. I’m honestly a bit jealous. I’ve gotten more brave about feeding them random bits from the garden. Where I used to hand them handfuls of clover, they now get lettuce, nasturtium flowers and even a bit of watermelon.
They love sampling the mint from the herb pots. We’ve even gotten a new feeder in the chicken run and that seems to be going well too. We need to do a bit of water proofing on it – but generally it’s pretty awesome.
With all the fresh playground chips in run, clean and fresh bedding in the coop and all the veggies they can stand – these guys couldn’t possibly have it much better.
