Despite begging Farmer Crossley to “for the love, stop buying goats” – we have some new goats.
It’s completely ridiculous that these things keep showing up. It’s even more ridiculous that they’re always cute enough to keep. Aaron ensures me that we “reserved these months ago.” So, technically, they’re grandfathered in to the “stop buying goats” agreement.
I don’t know if I’m buying it, but they’re here.
This pair is truly adorable. They’re young nanny boers with beautiful colors and blue eyes. In a few days, they’ll go to the Goat Grove with the rest of the herd. Then, later this summer, they’ll be exposed to a billy with hopes of having some new baby goats next Fall or so.
And then, you know, we’ll have even more goats.
