Cooee – Quilt Block Stained Glass

This piece was sold as a fundraiser for the Lake Dabinawa Activities Committee in Mc Louth, Kansas. The raffle raised $130 to be contributed to the committee’s playground fund – helping to enable the purchase of brand new playground equipment for children in the area.

The Quilt Block Stained Glass Collection features designs inspired by vintage and modern quilt blocks. Laura used a combination of paper quilt patterns, photos and sketches to plan, cut and create each piece. The collection is particularly distinguished by the geometric shapes, clean lines and contrasting or complementary colors used in each.
