Our fast run at finishing Phase 1 of our renovations in the first quarter of the year is quickly creeping in on the arrival of our second baby and a noteworthy pause in our work. Needless to say, I don’t think we’re going to be finishing this project anytime soon.
Regardless, progress is progress and I can’t be mad that we’re moving things forward. With new electrical in our master, master bath, nursery and guest bath – we’re one step closer to finally having a real space that belongs to us in this house.
Meanwhile, we’re still sleeping in the basement, still sharing our bed with a toddler and still not entirely certain where we’re going to keep a brand new baby. If we’ve learned anything in this process, we know we’re a scrappy bunch and we’ll figure it out somehow.
The more I see this space come together, the more I know we’re on the right path – regardless of how long and exhausting it might be.
