Views from the Farm

It’s not uncommon for us to end up with a whole bunch of farm photos that don’t really have a story behind them. We snap them when the sunset looks nice. Or, while we’re out playing with animals and doing chores. We have a family folder full of them. Sometimes they’re from Aaron’s point of view. Other times, they’re mine.

Regardless of where they come from, I’m always happy to look back on them with gratitude for the place we have here.

Over the past couple of weeks, our family has one-by-one battled the flu. First, it was Aaron. We still have no idea where he caught it. But, Isai soon followed. Then, Elin. And finally – after being puked on by all of the kids for about 5 days, it was my turn.

We’ve been hiding out in the house – taking turns taking care of each other. The nights have been sleepless. The days have been exhausting. We’re all a little stir-crazy but not quite 100% for adventuring.

Somehow, though, during that time – we’ve seen beautiful sunsets, roamed our pretty property, enjoyed the animals and made the best of it.

Looking forward to warmer weather and healthier days ahead.
